Thanksgiving Story Time
I love the Lake Oswego library. They have a great story time every week, and a cute creative craft about once a month. And they have special programs too, like puppet shows. Boston is finally very comfortable and loves to participate. Last week we went to the Thanksgiving story time and made a pine cone turkey. And the real treat was Dee Dee came and Papa so the whole crew was there.

Children's Museum
Last Thursday the boys and I went to the Children's Museum. It happened to be Veteran's Day so it was a little busy. Since I am not into the school schedules, I had NO idea. Anyways, I was so glad that my auntie Vicky met us there. She was a big help and could either man the stroller or be with Boston. It made the day so much more enjoyable to have company! I took a lot of pictures and posted most of them. I am practicing more and more with my camera. I am not natural at packing the camera in the car in the first place. Then I am not too good at holding the baby, cheerios, bag, coat, AND camera all at once. But I am getting better and one day I will get a few decent shots. But some are better than none, right? Oh, and I almost forgot to say, Boston LOVED the Clifford exhibit, which was the busiest one there. And that day happened to be the day that Clifford was there for a meet and greet so we waited in line for 3o minutes for our photo. And I suppose THAT photo (see below) is the picture of the day ;-)

CHAP
Last Thursday I took the boys down to CHAP (Children's Healing Art Project). This place was amazing. Essentially it is a huge warehouse with ALL kinds of donated goods and art supplies. There was an old bathtub, a mattress, tons of clothes and rugs, a plastic driving car. The kids could use whatever supplies and do whatever they wanted. Such a little kid's dream to paint the table and the floor! Boston had a great time going back and forth from painting and using glitter glue and then he would just play with the furniture. And double lucky for us, it is blocks from my auntie Vicky's loft, better known as Dee Dee. Here are a few pictures I got of our day.
Boston is using the glitter glue and making a door for the castle, complete with pipe cleaners

My favorite picture first :)
And this is what we call "the choke hold".....
We had a happy Halloween! We went to our good friends' the Larsson's for chili, apples, cheesy bread. Then we packed up our little bundles for trick or treating in their neighborhood. The weather was perfect, NOT raining, and not too cod.
Makenna and Boston are "good friends" to say the least. Just last week Boston dropped ALL his library books in the middle of the children's library and slow motioned ran with arms open to hug Makenna. It was the full on movie scene, "I missed you so much. Oh, how I love you." So over the top and funny! Anyways, whenever I ask Boston, "How was Makenna? Did you guys have fun?" Boston says, "Yeah a lot, but she hugs tight!"
