Cooper Fans

Last week we had an outpouring of family and friends the whole 3 days. And we were so blessed by each of them.  I didn't get photos of all, which is a little disappointing.  Those that I missed were:  My dad came everyday on his lunch break. Papa Billups came after work and Auntie Resh stayed with me on Tuesday night for a few hours to keep me company until it was bedtime.  Dee Dee came in the afternoons and watched me sleep :-)  My good friends Jamie and Allison McKenney, big bro Aaron and Kevin and the boys all stopped in.   Here are some more photos of our successful week and those that supported us. Thanks again for all the hugs, goodies and prayers.  We couldn't have made it home without each of you!

Daddy, still in his scrubs
THE big brother of the week!

There is no place like Momma
Nana hooked me up with lots of chocolate and cookies that came in handy at 2am
Lisa and her daughter Maddie brought muffins and bars, always well received
Love Auntie Anna and baby Andy

Cooper Quinn

Our little bundle of joy arrived on Monday morning.  And is just perfect.  Cooper Quinn is so strong and healthy.  We got to come home on Thursday and have been enjoying our growing family.  I will post more hospital photos this week as I get through them all.  For now, I am off to more snuggling and caramel corn :-)

House Update

It's been a while since I posted some photos of our new house.  It is coming along and we continue to make decisions weekly, the decorating ones are my favorite.  Boston loves to ride his bike at our new house and street but took a bad fall today so I didn't get any photos of the inside.
Boston on his bike on our new street.
Our house.  The roof is on and we are deciding on the exterior color and interior wall colors. The sheetrock was completed last week so once the paint colors are decided then the floor and cabinets can go in.
Ben's office.  It is slightly behind the house but waiting for sheetrock so very close.  The windows and doors are in and it is wired.
Our move in date is still Dec, probably first of next year.  We can't wait to have our new place. And picking out the fun stuff like tile, granite and carpet make it all come to life.

The w a i t i n g g a m e......

My c section date is set and confirmed with my dr for a week from tomorrow.  No labor news or activity so we are staying around home playing the waiting game.  I have been keeping up on laundry and dishes.  Last night took Boston to Red Robin, this morning we will go to church, lots of baths, stock up on groceries, pack my hospital bag.  And then more waiting.

It's not school, but it felt like it

A lot of my friends and both of my sisters sent their babies off to school last week.  Just so you all know, I was praying for each of you.  I admire you all for your strength and courage.

Well, my big news is my baby Boston had his first sleepover.  Boston spent the night at his cousins' house Ian and Gavin.  Boston was very excited and couldn't wait to go.  It was such a big deal for me though!  I have never spent the night away from Boston in all 3 years......never.  I almost went up to get him a couple of times and then Ben reminded me he was in awesome hands and probably wouldn't want to come home anyway.  I still slept with my phone :-)  I don't have any photos of the fun filled night but Boston has been taking his nap everyday since he got home. And every time we get in the car he wants to know if we are going to Chuck E Cheese or Ian and Gavin's.  Thanks Auntie Ally for taking such good care of both Boston and ME!

They are so cute together

This is McKenna and Boston at a cute little sandwich place in Lake Oswego.  McKenna lives just a few blocks away from us and we know her family through church and we go to the same workout gym.  She is a few months younger than Boston but they are very similar.  They are both train wrecks without a nap.  They love to swap bikes and helmets.  Boston looks quite cute with a pink Dora helmet.  They both love Little Einsteins and the park.  Their age is so much fun and when they are together it is double the fun!

2 weeks and 6 days

My c section date is officially booked for Monday Sept 22.  So I am 2 weeks and 6 days away ;-)  I am feeling healthy and strong so I hope to make it the whole time.  Yesterday I started having some contractions and my hands have been swelling a bit and then subsiding so I know the end is near.  Today the swelling is down and the contractions stopped after an hour or so.  I see the doctor twice a week now to monitor me and baby and we have a full ultrasound this week or next to determine his size.  Last week I got to see the ultrasound and he looked like he had more hair than Boston.  I am hoping for some black Billups hair.  We will see soon enough!
