Boston's New Bike

Boston is turning 3 in August and for his birthday he wanted a bike!  So yesterday we went down to the Bike Gallery in Lake Oswego and let him pick out the bike he wanted.  He cannot get enough of it.  And already in 1 day has improved so much!  And thanks to Auntie Ally again for our rockin helmet!  Here are a few photos of my little biker ;-)

House Update

It's been a while since I posted photos of our new house.  So here goes :-)  The condensed update is we have had to make a few cuts and do some areas of the house in phases, due to the budget running out.  The backyard and even the front will be over the next year or so.  The office is going up but we might be leaving it unfinished and the boys desks and a few cabinets have been on hold as well.  But we plan to still do all our goals we will just be on the 2-5 year plan, maybe shorter depending on how we do.

The outdoor living space.  This is the outdoor fireplace and it is off the kitchen.
The front of our house.  The rock is still being worked on.  The color of the grout is not right yet but we are getting there.  The tile roof should be on this week.  As you can see the roof is started.  And the house needs painting too.
The office.....one day.  It is sooooo cool.  I joke with Ben that his office is so cool he better still come home.

Parents' Escape

Our athletic club has parents' escape every month on a given Saturday night.  Boston just loves it. It is a few hours and he gets pizza, fruit punch and lots of play.  Tonight Ben and I went to a new Italian restaurant and then to Bridgeport to walk around.  And then to pick up Boston early with gummy worms ;-)

Looking forward to Sunday tomorrow.  Oh and I will soon post photos of our new house.  It is back in progress so I have photos to share!

Go Diego Go LIVE!

Tonight the 3 of us went to Go Diego Go LIVE!  It was such a trip.  Our banker at Wells Fargo invited us to go so we all got to be in a suite at the Rose Garden.  Boston had a good time but we left a little early.  He was getting tired and restless and after an hour and a half, he was ready to go home.  The show was like a broadway show for toddlers with tons of snacks.   The only bad part was NO CAMERAS ALLOWED!  So no pictures :-(

Here are some of my favorite photos from the past few days in Sunriver.

This is Boston in his burley that we rented for the week.  Here is a photo of him at 7am.  He still has sleepy eyes, is in his pjs, no breakfast yet BUT he is ready to go for a bike ride.

The resort has a kiddie pool and it is Boston's favorite.  He was a little timid on the first day but by the 2nd day in the afternoon he was running and jumping in, over the step.

Sunriver

Ben, Boston and I are spending the week and holiday weekend in Sunriver. We rolled into town yesterday after lunch and I dropped them off along with our stuff and headed to the grocery store. When I came back, this is what I found.  Apparently our condo has an air hockey table in the garage and Ben had set Boston up on a lawn chair.  The helmet was a gift from Auntie Allison.  Auntie Ally gave Boston this helmet a few nights ago at Gavin's birthday party and although he was shy at first, he won't take it off now, except in the car because it is too uncomfortable in his car seat.  Last night Ben and Boston rented a bike and a carrier for Boston. I will post photos of the bike couple later this week :-)
